Minecraft servers is a combination survival and world building PC game. Development begin in mid 2009, and is ongoing as of October 2010. The game is developed by a single developer whose handle is “Notch.” It is a sandbox game in which the goal of the player is to transform the automatically generated game world to conform to the player’s wishes by breaking, collecting, and redeploying blocks created from various components (wood, stone, gems, etc).
Building things is the game’s primary source of fun, and the reason it is so popular – people enjoy creating gigantic monuments, buildings, and other interesting constructions and showing them off to their friends, other players, and the internet servers for Minecraft .
Why Play Minecraft?
Why Play Minecraft? You may look at screenshots of the game and think there’s no way this could be worth your time and money. I thought the exact same thing when I first saw it, and dismissed the game out of hand. After a friend bit the bullet and paid the 10 euros to check it out, I did the same, and was well rewarded for it.
It’s such a simple premise (“build things. at night, monsters come”) but there really is a great feeling of satisfaction you get by taking a mountain and converting into a house for your character to “live in.”
While we’re still waiting for survival mode to be fully implemented for the multiplayer version, I can tell it’ll be a ton of fun creating fortresses with your friends and repelling the creepers’ attacks. Minecraft is a game that transcends its shortcomings graphically with gameplay that is ridiculously engaging.
More than once I have found myself playing “just a bit more” and finally crawled into bed 5 hours later, and my friends report the same. It’s awesome logging into a multiplayer servers for Minecraft in the morning and seeing all the changes people have made to the world while you were sleeping, and picking up where you left off on your own creations. There are so many things you can create in the game, I have to use a Minecraft guide to keep track of them all.
What Can I do in Minecraft?
It’s really very simple. The goal of Minecraft is to transform the world from the randomly generated vista at the beginning to whatever you want, be that a tranquil town, stern mountain fort, or lava-filled hell zone. To do this, you punch things. Like wood, or sand, or some soft stones. Yes, punch them.
When you arrive in the world that’s all you can do. Once you’ve gathered some wood and created a workbench, you can access the larger crafting grid and fashion yourself an axe, shovel, or other building implement, so you can give your sore hands a rest and hack away at blocks with tools instead. if you’re still wondering what else you can do, check out Minecraft Videos for more information.

Why was I banned? Can I appeal my ban?
You could become banned for any number of reasons, this server has a ZERO Bullshit tolerance policy; Servers For Minecraft is here to have fun and not have it ruined by someone wanting to screw around. So if you are banned, it could be for breaking one of the many rules the server have. For being an overall dick, for being negative to an extent that it’s a drain on those you are playing with, for disobeying a faction leader if he has given you a reasonable order.
Yes you may appeal, there is a thread on our forum just for this. If you are banned, it is in your best interest to be polite and professional when appealing. If your appeal is accepted and you are welcomed back onto the server, it will be your one and only chance. A second breach of the rules will get you removed immediately without notice or appeal. So be on your best behavior to prove that you want to stay.
